Concept Screen Designs

A five-screen system that reimagines physical car controls as a unified digital experience, prioritizing clarity over complexity

Modern vehicles rely on an increasing number of physical controls, creating visual noise and cognitive load. This concept explores whether core driving functions can live in a fully digital interface without sacrificing clarity or safety.

Heads-up Display

Eyes on the Road, Info in Sight

Turn-by-turn directions, speed limits, and collision alerts appear directly in the driver’s line of sight, keeping focus where it belongs while providing glanceable, essential information.

Familiarity Without Friction

This design reduces the learning curve for drivers transitioning to electric vehicles by translating familiar physical controls into a digital interface that behaves in expected, intuitive ways. By preserving spatial logic and interaction patterns, essential tasks remain easy to perform even as most hard controls are replaced with a streamlined, modern system.

Innovation With Clarity

By consolidating mechanical buttons into thoughtfully designed digital controls, the interface offers a more cost-effective and flexible solution while maintaining ease of use. New features are introduced through clear hierarchy and restrained interaction design, ensuring they are easy to locate, safe to use, and free from unnecessary complexity.

Impact and Outcome

Apex
